Dogs are often referred to as ‘man’s best friend’. I love dogs. I used to own 2 golden retrievers: Lexi and Leo. Lexi lived 18 years, the last one in diapers. Dog diapers are expensive. I eventually learned to buy human diapers and cut a hole out for the tail. Lexi was a great dog. Leo was a bit of a psycho. I got him at 1 year of age and his former owner didn’t even pet him good-bye. Leo could follow basic commands but he refused to lie down. A local legendary dog trainer named ‘Wolfman’ said he never met a dog with such resistance to pain. Anyway, dogs in general bring such love and fun into our lives.
